C.D. then offers to help. What they don't know is that he caught Grady doing something without his knowledge, so Grady had him killed. Walker is then instructed by the commissioner, who was instructed by the Governor to go Golden Wells, because several of the country's wealthiest men will be there this weekend for a special function, and he wants Walker to discreetly keep an eye on things.
